↵ NEWSLamp Honors Charles F. BrushOriginal Release: 3/17/2020 Located on Public Square next to the Society Bank in Cleveland is a commemorative decorative lamp in honor of Charles F. Brush. In 1869, Charles Brush placed twenty arc lamps around Monumental Park, now Public Square. The iron lantern was designed by John Root in 1890 in honor of Brush.
