When it comes to the most beautiful high schools in Ohio, Brush does well compared to schools in the rest of the state.

The driver's education company, Aceable, loves to compile lists on their blog and recently compiled a list of the prettiest high schools in Ohio.

The list, released in the blog on Aceable's website, rated Brush #26 among the 1,360 high schools in Ohio (1,152 public schools and 208 private schools).

Built in 1927, our brick schoolhouse is easily identifiable by its beautiful clock tower.

Aceable also rated the ARCS as the 14th best Ohio high school mascot. Because of where we went to school, we all know our electricity history. Charles F. Brush invented the arc light, a lamp that was 200 times more powerful than other lamps in the late 1800's. And while the high school halls aren't lit by arc lamps, they are certainly filled with Arc Pride. Feel the Power! (One of Brush's current slogans).

Just as a point of reference, the #1 mascot according to Aceable is the Glenville High School Tarblooder and the #1 most beautiful high school in Ohio is Withrow University High School in Cincinnati.
