Brush High School Alumni Association Class of 2021 Senior Scholarships

On May 13, 2021, in the Welser Gym at Charles F. Brush High School, a special event was held for the annual scholarship awards. Proud seniors who earned a GPA of 3.0 or greater and their par-ents/families were invited to this special COVID safe evening. All students were recognized for their accomplish-ments, and monetary scholarships were presented to many of those students.

The Brush Alumni Association is always proud to be a part of this celebration, administrating scholarships which, this year, totaled $29,861.69! The first scholarship given by the Alumni Association was in 1993, when Mr. and Mrs. Alan Skinner and Mr. and Mrs. Don Lamberton (1947 classmates) established the John V. Jacque Memorial Scholarship. Since that time, the Alumni Association has distributed $243,861.69 to well deserving Brush seniors. This year's John V. Jacque Me-morial Scholarship was awarded to Carla Wagner. Other recipients can be seen on these pages.

Presenters at the awards program this year were Bonnie Abbey '68 and Cherie Thomas Pencak '76.

By contributing to these scholarships, Brush Alumi have not only provided monetary help to these recipients' futures, but also to the future of Brush High School and to the South Eu-clid/Lyndhurst community. We thank you, Brush Alum, for your years of loyalty and caring.
