Welcome Scott Mills & Elizabeth Tarkowsky

The Alumni Association welcomes Scott Andrew Mills, '81 to the team of worker bees who are currently keeping this boat floating!

Scott is a Principal Agent and a member of the Maverick Insurance Group LLC, Highland Heights. He has been married to Ann Marie since 1989 and they have four children: one in Florida, one in Shaker Heights and two currently serving as a 1st Lieutenant and Captain in the US Army.

Scott received his Property & Casualty and Life & Health license in 2002. In 2012 he passed his series 6 and is also certified in Flood and Long-Term Care.

Scott is a serial entrepreneur and has been self-employed most of his adult life. Prior to starting his agency at the age of 49 in 2012, he had a short stint in banking and for close to 25 years was in the vehicle and equipment finance business. His basic business philosophy is "call them back"! According to Scott, that's what the clients really want.

Scott has served in many roles for area non-profits including President, Event Chair, Membership, Treasurer and many other supporting roles. In his spare time (which is rare), he enjoys spending time with family & friends, working in the yard, and playing bocce.

In addition to helping out with the Alumni Association's many initiatives, Scott will specifically be working on our Paver Project.

	Elizabeth Tarkowsky

We also welcome Elizabeth Tarkowsky. Elizabeth graduated from Brush in 1999. She received a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Bowling Green State University. In her early 30's, she went back to school and earned a Masters in Business Administra-tion from Lake Erie College. This launched her into her current career. She is the owner of two local boutiques: Village Trends Boutique in Chesterland and Chardon.

She currently resides in Mayfield Village with her husband, Greg. She is the proud mom to Ryan (8), Brendan (6), and Molly (4).

Elizabeth will mainly be working as our Reunion Liaison. She will be working with the chair people of each class to help with their reunions. Want to arrange a tour of Brush for your classmates? Elizabeth will also make sure that your reunion info gets posted on the district website and gets advertised through social media.
