Hopefully Savant will reinvigorate Edison's lighting business and return it to the forefront of innovation. But until then, I'll remember the Christmas lights at NELA Park and all the other ways that the people who worked there were able to light up the world. (photo above, the 2018 display contained more than 500,000 lights!)
